Overview

The Corcovado Sirena Ranger Station Day Tour takes you directly into the most biologically intense place on Earth, as designated by National Geographic. Departing by boat from Drake Bay, you will navigate along the breathtaking wild coastline of the Osa Peninsula before making a wet beach landing at Sirena Station.

Accompanied by an expert ICT-certified naturalist guide equipped with a high-definition spotting telescope, you will embark on a 4-hour immersive hike along the Sirena biological trails. This sector is famous worldwide for regular sightings of Baird's tapirs, all four Costa Rican monkey species (spider, howler, white-faced capuchin, and squirrel monkey), collared peccaries, sloths, and hundreds of tropical bird species. After your hike and a delicious fresh lunch, you board the boat back to Drake Bay.

Important Note on Corcovado Permits: Entry permits to Sirena Station are strictly controlled and limited daily by MINAE/SINAC. We strongly recommend booking 15 to 30 days in advance to secure official park passes. Meeting point: Drake Bay beach.
